Concert

For the third year running, Satellite is collaborating with Sustainability Week to bring you a sound system concert inside our beautiful bar. This dub and roots orientated concert will be sounded by Natty Coco Sound System and will have the pleasure of welcoming Woody Vibes, a dub to bass music project from Grenoble. The evening will be fuelled by two sets from Natty Coco, rounded off by singer Syra and a set from Esaïa, a Swiss producer and DJ. Our artists have a little surprise in store for you at the end of the concert, so come one, come all!

Artists

Esaïa

Esaïa is an emerging producer from Geneva, used to sound system sessions, immersed in Techno and electronic music in the broadest sense, fascinated by film music and introduced to Hip-Hop, Jazz and Rock. She has built up a non-etiquetteable sound identity with a strong Bass Music flavour. With the Dub never far away, she transmits emotions, touches the body and invites her audience to take off for a purely eclectic set...

Natty Coco

Natty Coco is a young collector and selector from Reunion Island. Based in Haute Savoie and passionate about reggae and sound system culture, he started collecting Jamaican music from the 60s, 70s and 80s, as well as international reggae and a stepper selection honed over the years by his friends' in-house productions for an energetic end to the evening! All in all, a varied selection. In 2019, he decided to get his own sound system and organise his own parties to spread and share the positive vibes that keep this culture alive.

Syra

Syra has been singing naturally since she was a child, influenced by jazz and soul, and initially developed her own voice in this style. In 2017, after meeting producer Handyman, she turned her singing towards a reggae dub style and began writing her own lyrics. A member of the HFD Records collective, she collaborates with them on various projects: Handyman & Syra's "Soul Meeting" EP, Handyman's "Uprising" album, Rama's "Mankind" EP and other exclusive dubplates for the label. She's also behind the mike at all their sound system nights. She works with various producers and labels: Digital Power Sound, Owl Trackers, Ginette Prod, Bhale Bacce Crew, Mental Stamina Records. A young singer with committed lyrics, she gets her message across with her warm voice.

Woody Vibes

Woody Vibes is a multi-talented musician who sculpts Dub music in his own way. Drawing on the riches of Bass Music and lunar elements, he creates a captivating hybrid universe. He also rises to the challenge by contributing to compilations with renowned labels and artists such as Lakay, Benzinho and Feldub. His project has travelled the length and breadth of France, playing at prestigious festivals such as Exoria, Reperkusound, Green River Valley and Psychobydub, winning him a loyal following. His music transcends borders, successfully exporting to Spain, Germany and Switzerland.
